eden & co. started with a small frustration: most christian art either whispers so quietly it disappears into the wall, or shouts so loudly you would never hang it in your living room.
we wanted the middle of those two. a verse set in type worth framing. a cross you would wear on a tuesday rather than save for sundays. design that takes the words seriously enough to give them room to breathe, and then gets out of their way.
that is the entire product. no clip art, no gradients, no stock crosses. one passage, set carefully, said once — and left readable from across the room.
eden is where it starts. a garden, light, growth, the first good thing. it felt like the right place to name a shop after — and it set the palette while it was at it: cream paper, olive, clay, sand.
prints are giclée on heavyweight matte art stock with archival pigment inks. matte matters more than it sounds: a gloss print throws the ceiling light straight back at you, and a verse you have to stand at an angle to read is a verse nobody reads. every size is standard, so an off-the-shelf frame fits without custom framing.
jewelry is solid metal throughout — never plated, so there is no thin layer to wear through at the edges where a piece actually gets handled. nickel-free, hand-polished, and finished to be worn daily rather than kept in a drawer.
a limited number of each design rather than an open-ended print queue. when one sells out it is gone — we would rather run out than discount.
pigment inks on heavyweight matte stock, and solid metal that is never plated. both are chosen so the thing outlasts the person who bought it.
